Grand Puppies
Grand Puppies
This is Chopper, our son Jon and Ivette's English Bulldog.
This is his favorite position when he gets a little
winded or hot. Since we don't have any grandchildren yet we like to babysit our grandpuppies and spoil them rotten.
Pets on Parade
We have 2 loyal Labradors, the black is "Molly" she is 13 as of this June. Bentley is 4 yrs. old and
has a loud bark to scare away the robbers. One night this month they got out and must have run around the neighborhood. Anyway they were locked out of the backyard and about 1 a.m. Bentley went to Kenzie's bedroom window and just started barking. Kenzie is a heavy sleeper but the constant barking woke her up and she looked out and saw Bentley barking at her and Molly was just sitting there. Rick got up and let them in the backyard and they must have drunk water for about 5 minutes. Bentley's the smart one. Molly has arthritis but still can hold her own in a game of cat and mouse with Bentley.
Girls Camp June 4th - 7th 2008 Camp Lomia
Well after serving over 10 years in some leadership capacity at girls camp I finally get to enjoy it with my own daughter Mackenzie! I was her cabin mom along with 4 other 1st year girls. We were Super Heroes in Training. Our ward was The Flash. This was the best year ever because we had great weather, and all the girls seemed to get along and we just had a really fun time.
Havasupi Trip May 2008
Kenzie and I got to tag along with Rick's Teachers
Super Activity. This is Mooney Falls a 200 Ft. Waterfall. The water was freezing cold but crystal clear. After a 10 mile hike into the canyon the cold water felt good on the old toesies. I came away with no blisters, Kenzie got one on her heel and Rick was covered. We spent 3 nights enjoy the beautiful sights.

Arizona Wildflowers
In the beginning - the chicken or the egg?
Well I've finally succumbed to being a computer nerd with my very own blog.
I don't know anything about how to set it up but I've got lots of time because it's
113 degrees outside and it's too hot to go out and work in my garden. Hence, my
blog name "Green Acres". So you'll be seeing lots of pictures of my garden and trips
we will be taking and of course pets and our soon to be grandson of Danny and Lachelle's.
