Through her contemporary investigation, she stumbles onto a trail of long-hidden family secrets that connect her to Sarah. Julia finds herself compelled to retrace the girl's ordeal, from that terrible term in the Vel d'Hiv', to the camps, and beyond. As she probes into Sarah's past, she begins to question her own place in France, and to reevaluate her marriage and her life.

Not Entirely British http://www.annebradshaw.blogspot.comThis is my first time entering a give-away contest found on Anne Bradshaws great blog. Thanks Diane for the info, (she is a secret blog hopper). Anyway she's giving away a CD set on "The Arthurian Omen" by G. G. Vandagriff. Since I just joined a book club, (it's probably the only way I'll read a book) I thought it would be fun to join this contest.
Oh and by the way the next book we are reading in the book club is called "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman. It will be held at my house on February 17 if anyone is interested in coming. I thought it would be a good book to read since it's only 3 days after Valentines. We just finished discussing the book "Coming of Age in Mississippi" by Anne Moody.
