We drove down to Rocky Point Mexico Christmas morning. Santa greated us as we entered town.
We stayed at the Las Palomas beach condos.
This was our front porch at the condo. It was only a few steps up from the beach and pool area.
Kenzie and Derek enjoying a dip in the jacuzzi.
Sunsets are always beautiful.
We picked up some homemade tortillas at the corner store.
Went to the bigger super market for the "hard stuff" (salsa).
A view of the condos from across the bay.
Kenzie doing some "Power Shopping" in town. Not that many people day after Christmas. I think more people show up for New Years Celebrations.
Mexican selling shrimp. He pinches the head and the tail flies up.
Jon's favorite Mexican hang out at "Luca's". The best grilled chicken, beans and rice.
Our condo was the one on the far right at the corner.
Another sunset pose.
Lots of dogs come to vacation, this was just one of many I took pictures of.
Our condo was the one in the middle, at Spring Break we camp where the motor homes are
parked on the right of the picture.
We went to church but just missed the passing of the sacrament.
This is a vendor, one of many who walk up and down the beach selling their wares. That's how all shopping should be done. Sitting on the beach and they come to you.
Derek and Kenzie playing horseshoes.
Boche Ball was also fun to play on the beach.
I even got to ride a horse on the beach. First time ever. It was so much fun!
Norma, Ivette and Kenzie and another furry friend. Hopefully we'll be making this our family tradition at Christmas time.

Found your blog through Twitter, and love the photos. I live in San Miguel de Allende with Mexican husband and teenaged girls. Try San Miguel for Christmas some year! It´s pretty and festive here. Lots of people admiring the two live-sized Nativity scenes in the central Jardin.
Although, the beach does look hard to beat.
Happy New Year to your lovely family. Susan McKinney de Ortega
