Rick and I and Kenzie and her 2 friends decided to hike up to the Wind Caves. The cave is almost to the top of this mountain right behind Ricks head . It's in a State Park and you pay$6.00 to park your car. Today was a great day to hike because it was threatening to rain and just the right cool breeze.
A Park Ranger stopped to talk to the girls and teach them about this gourd he was carrying that houses a small owl. He had a toy owl in his pocket.
Rick and I beat the girls to the top. Lots of people on the trail and everyone was in a jovial mood.
The girls made it and felt a big sense of relief.
We all went to eat at Pete's Fish and Chips to load up on greasy monster burgers and fish and chips. (Not the best thing to eat after a great hike)
