All Together

Finally after 12 days of waiting to get surgery on Ricks arm the day came. Here is Rick going into the Arizona Orthopedic Surgery Hosp. This was at 8:30 a.m. This is an amazing hospital which our doctor is part owner of. His office is right next door.
This is Dr. Hardison our long time friend and neighbor who is explaining what he is about to do on Ricks arm. Rick went into surgery about 10:00 a.m. and finished up about 11:30. The surgery went well and he came out of it with flying colors.
After 2 plates and 6 screws his shoulder and bones are all put back together. The doctor called it "putting the ice cream back on the cone". It kind of does look like an ice cream cone.
This is Dr. Hardison after surgery checking to see if Rick's arm nerves were not damaged in the operation.
Everything looks good!
Carson came over to play with all the fun equipment. We really felt everyone's prayers and concern. We are just so thankful everything went well and Rick is on the road to recovery.

Glad to see that all went well. I had to laugh when I saw Rick last Saturday and asked him if he was getting the "hint". He tried to tell me that he was being cautious and not doing anything crazy to which I replied that that wasn't what I was referring to. When I explained to him that we are all getting older and more brittle, he simply told me it was time for me to go now!! The man is in some serious denial!!! haha
Good to see that doctor hardison was able to put humpty dumpty back together again!! :)
