The Bold and The Beautiful - Baja Style

Hey Man ..... jump for joy we made it to BAJA land of the BOLD and the BEAUTIFUL?
Pam brought all the necessary equipment to be able to make these BEAUTIFUL frames.

Happy Fathers Day - Baja Style. Rick and Shawn (life long buds) couldn't be more happier to be in Baja on Fathers Day.
All 18 of us went into San Felipe to go to Church. I think there were more visitors than locals today. Rick and Shawn got to bless the sacrament because there was not anyone else there to do it. It was really a great experience to see them up there together. Last time they had done that was when they were Priests in their old home ward growing up. BEAUTIFUL
Maybe not so bold matadors hat on Richard. Having fun shopping in the market place.
BEAUTIFUL girls having a fun night dancing to the music.
Beautiful and thinking boldly on the beach.
BOLD - All the girls went into town to go shopping without their husbands. Never been done before. Lots of fun but we got stuck in the sand about 100 yards before we reached the beach house. But we were able to get unstuck without any help from the dads!
BEAUTIFUL BAJA BUG.....you had to crawl under it's door to get inside. Behind us in the way off distance you can see the beach homes where we stay.
Definitely BOLD after their He-man motorcycle ride out to the oasis...

BOLD and BEAUTIFUL BAJA RICK
BEAUTIFUL sunset Baja Style. Weather was in the balmy 80's, with a little bit of humidity.
BEAUTIFUL Julia with her long beautiful blue nails!
BEAUTIFUL faces of our friends. We all had the best time.
BEAUTIFUL couple Shawn and Jane in their Polaris. We have had so much fun coming down to Baja with their family all these years. Over 21 years!
BOLD - Shawn and Rick got tired of waiting in line at the border and not going anywhere and got out of their cars and walked up to the front to try and speed up things. Well it didn't speed up anything except my heart palpitations thinking they were going to get put in jail.

Maylee at 2 weeks

Jon brought Maylee over last week early in the morning to meet the dogs. This was Kenzie's first time holding her. Kenzie can't wait for her to grow up to do her nails and go shopping with her. But I want her to stay little as long as possible.
She sleeps most of the time except around midnight when she wants to play.
Jon was so excited for her to meet his dog Chopper whom we have inherited. It's funny how young couples love to get a dog and treat it like their babies and then when the real baby comes around the dog gets second place. You can see our other dog "Molly" in the upper right, she just turned 15 years old this month. She still gets around but can't see or hear very well.

More Green Acres Stuff

This is a Nordic Pine I purchased several years ago at Frys Grocery Store. I had it in a pot on my front porch where it grew so big I put it outback amongst the citrus trees. It likes shade and can get a bit frost bite. But I love it's delicate branches and would love to have a little forest of them growing by the irrigation gate. Speaking of irrigation....it's wonderful but a hassle at times if not working or if you get it in the middle of the night. But in the summer we flood our backyard every two weeks and in the winter it comes once a month. I think that's why the Citrus and roses do so well, they love that deep water.
This is St. Patrick's Tea Rose. It has a tinge of green when it first starts blooming and then turns this buttery yellow.
I have this sunflower growing in a pot. It's called a teddybear sunflower. Grows about 2 ft. tall.
These are mums you can get from the grocery store and I planted them and they come back every year. I have them as a border flower along the grass.
More sunflowers....can you tell my favorite color is yellow.
