Finally Put to Light

I got this sent to me via email and was so glad to see it's finally going to be put to light.

Please pray for him.
Federal Judge Carter sets Trial Date for Obama's Eligibility!

The expedited trial has been set for Jan. 26, 2010!

Many concerned veterans and citizens attended the hearing in Federal Court in Santa Ana in the lawsuit against Barack Obama to determine his eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief. About 150 people showed up, almost all in support of the lawsuit to demand that Obama release his birth certificate and other records that he has hidden from the American people..

Judge David Carter refused to hear Obama's request for dismissal. He indicated there was almost no chance that this case would be dismissed. Obama is arguing this lawsuit was filed in the wrong court if you can believe that. Obama would prefer a "kangaroo court" instead of a Federal court! Assuming Judge Carter denies Obama's motion for dismissal, he will likely then order expedited discovery which will force Obama to release his birth certificate in a timely manner (if he has one).

The judge, WHO IS A FORMER U.S. MARINE, repeated several times that this is A VERY SERIOUS CASE which must be resolved quickly so that the troops know that their Commander in Chief is eligible to hold that position and issue lawful orders to our military in this time of war. He basically said OBAMA MUST PROVE HIS ELIGIBILITY to the court! He said Americans deserve to know the truth about their President!

The two U.S. Attorneys representing Barack Obama tried everything they could to sway the judge that this case was frivolous, but Carter would have none of it and cut them off several times. Obama's attorneys left the courtroom after about the 90 minute e hearing looking defeated and nervous.

Great day in America for the U.S. Constitution! The truth about Barack Obama's eligibility will be known fairly soon - Judge Carter practically guaranteed it!

Storm of the Century

Flooding, tornadoes, car auction tents blowing on freeways, roofs collapsing from snow, airports closing, children getting swept away in the water, dogs running on freeways and Michael getting rearended on the freeway all in a days work. Yes a dog ran across the freeway and Michael was coming home from school in the driving rain in the dark and braked to avoid hitting a dog that looked like our dog "Bentley" and got hit from behind while driving Danny's car. Poor Michael second car crash in less than a year. His back and neck are hurting again and will start up the many chiropractic visits. This was a crazy storm and still is not over. We've had so much water and snow in just a few days. Arizonan's are not use to driving in rain and it's dangerous out there.
Be careful everyone.

Rocky Point Re-Visited

Went back to Rocky Point just two weeks after we had already been there. We took Shawn and Jane this time for their 25th wedding anniversary and Rick's birthday. The weather was gorgeous again and we enjoyed the whole place to ourselves as you can see there is no one on the beach. Which wasn't so great because the vendors had us to only sell to. I bought a nice silver ring from this nice man who picked it out for me. This man said that next year the cruise ships are going to be stopping at Rocky Point. It will be good for his business if it ever comes about. I don't know how they make a living with nobody there to sell to. We enjoyed reading and laying around by the pool and Jacuzzi.
This was the biggest shrimp I've ever seen. One shrimp would fill me up. I didn't buy any shrimp from them and they gave me a hard time just taking a picture and not buying anything. Last time we ate a ton of shrimp but didn't buy any this time. I brought down food and we always went to the local grocery store "Leys" to buy melt in your mouth french rolls, the best I've ever tasted. The papaya's were good this time but no mangoes to be found.
Here is a nice picture of a fishing boat coming into the harbor from a long nights haul. At night you look out into the bay and see the lights of the fishing boats bobbing up and down. There are usually about 6 to 7 boats floating around every night. And always the party boat with it's disco ball and party music float by around 9 p.m. I wonder if anyone is even on the boat.
This is probably my favorite picture of Rick and I down at Rocky Point. I'll have to frame this one.
A beautiful sunset down at the point of Cholla Bay. It's a little housing community basically for Americans who love to fish and they have a vacation home there. I guess the fishing is world famous.
We are eating breakfast out on our 13th story patio. The condo was fabulous. Jon helped us get it from a friend of his. This was at the Las Palomas Resort. The same resort we stayed at during Christmas only a different condo.
This is a sunglass shop on the dirt mall or "Shacks Fifth Ave". I did not buy any glasses but should have. You can buy a beautifull pair for under $10.00.
Jane and I had loads of fun shopping while the guys just sat in the car talking. I loved looking at the pottery.
A mexican shop downtown. Over priced and not so well kept up. But a cute display on the outside. We did find a great store I recommend called Mercedes. It is Jane and my favorite all time pottery shop. Great stuff and resonably priced. Didn't even feel we needed to bargain down. Jane is a great bargainer. I just love to follow her around and learn a thing or two. Rick came away with the Swine flu or something when we got home. It took him a week to feel back to normal. He was also sick a week before we left so maybe his immune system was down. But at least we all felt good while we were there. We always have so much fun with Shawn and Jane.
I think this was a hit and want to keep it a tradition along with our beloved San Felipe trips. Both Rick and Shawn speak Spanish and we have always had a great time in Mexico. It's always an adventure. This time when we crossed the border into Mexico the police had their german shepard search our truck inside and out. It was a little gross with his little crusty behind sniffing all over our seats. We were the only ones there and I think he wanted to give his dog some practise.

Bishop's Quilt - Harris Park Ward

I presented the Harris Park Ward Friendship Quilt to our Bishop today right after sacrament. It was so wonderful to finally present it to him. The primary kids got up and sang him a song they have been practicing about Bishops and then I said a few words and gave him the quilt. He was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma this year and has gone through many chemo treatments and a few more to go. I thought it would be nice if the ward made him a quilt. About 50 families made a square representing their family and then we sewed them all together and Diane H. and her mother in law finished it off by tying it and hand stitched the border. It turned out really good. But the really good news is that he is cancer free. Thank you to everyone who helped in making this possible. Especially Diane H. for helping me pick out material and being my "right hand man" and doing a lot of the hand work with the help of her mother in law and Debbie V. for using her embroidery machine to make the title square. And for our great ward who are always willing and able to help out wherever possible. We Love Our Bishop!!

"B"ring On The New Year - 2010

This year I really thought about my New Year's Resolutions. There's so many ideas I've come up with that I'm so excited to start!!! Each Sunday I'm going to update how I'm coming on them giving little snippets of what they are on my blog. Hopefully that will keep me focused and dedicated to accomplishing them.
This Sunday I thought about Pres. Hinkley's Six "B"'s.
1. Be Grateful
2. Be Smart
3. Be Clean
4. Be True
5. Be Humble
6. Be Prayerful
3 New Ones
7. Be Positive
8. Be Still
9. Be Involved

I love the "B"'s and thought I also want to have my own personal "B"'s. I thought about all the people in my life that have made a significant impact on me and what their qualities were.
Then I came up with Six "B"s that I wanted to work on.
Nancy's Six "B"s

1. Be Forgiving
2. Be Happy
3. Be Creative
4. Be a Hard Worker
5. Be Dedicated
6. Be Wise
