Wind Cave Hike

Rick and I and Kenzie and her 2 friends decided to hike up to the Wind Caves. The cave is almost to the top of this mountain right behind Ricks head . It's in a State Park and you pay
$6.00 to park your car. Today was a great day to hike because it was threatening to rain and just the right cool breeze.
A Park Ranger stopped to talk to the girls and teach them about this gourd he was carrying that houses a small owl. He had a toy owl in his pocket.
Rick and I beat the girls to the top. Lots of people on the trail and everyone was in a jovial mood.
The girls made it and felt a big sense of relief.
We all went to eat at Pete's Fish and Chips to load up on greasy monster burgers and fish and chips. (Not the best thing to eat after a great hike)

Valentine Wishes

My Achievement Day girls came by today and surprised me with a very cute valentine tree in a pot. They sang a Happy Valentine song and said there good byes because I just got called to be Young Women Pres. and no longer teaching them. They are a great group of girls and I had so much fun with them and the leaders aka "Fabulous Four". But the good thing is they already know me when they come into Young Women. So I hope I'm still in when they come in.

Glow in Dark

Beehives had fun learning how to make bracelets.WE had a glow in the dark night playing basketball, dodge ball, marshmellow baseball, they all had a good time. Adults like to sit on the sideline (our favorite activity).
Gorgeous Girls.
Kaylee and Amanda ( true friends).
Boys hamming it up for the camera.

Frozen Dinner

A couple weeks ago we had a very hard frost for a few days. I took a picture of my fountain which was frozen. Chopper our dog thought it was a very tasty popsicle.
Chopper eats just about anything.
